The boom-type roadheader is a combined machine capable of cutting, loading, transporting, self-propelled movement, and dust suppression through spraying. With the rapid development of mechanization in coal mining faces, the demand for tunneling speed in coal mines is increasing. To improve the speed of accurate roadway cutting, boom-type roadheaders have been vigorously developed and gradually perfected. The boom-type roadheader must simultaneously achieve coal and rock cutting, loading and transportation, machine movement and adjustment, as well as dust suppression through spraying, integrating cutting, loading, transporting, and moving into one unit. It mainly consists of a cutting mechanism, loading mechanism, conveying mechanism, traveling mechanism, frame and slewing platform, hydraulic system, electrical system, cooling and dust suppression water supply system, and operation control system.
